Ramadhan 1439 is Approching!

There will be a vibe preparing for Ramadhan soon.
Assalamualaikum and hi everyone.

I hope everyone is in good health and may everyone be always in Allah protection. Alhamdulliah, I've been busy lately. There were so many things to talk about, and In shaa Allah, I will share my experiences and memories through these days here in Adelaide next time.

However today. I am so keen to talk about Ramadhan. It is 17 DAYS TILL RAMADHAN. Alhamdullilah Allah has given us the chance to be nearer with the month that is better than 1000 months in shaa Allah.

Therefore, I hope everyone is excited as I am and in shaa Allah I hope everyone including me to start our engine slowly, maybe by doing simple stuff like fasting on Monday or Thursday, begin to recite Quran one page a day or giving charity to anyone, (maybe not big but start small). I also believe that the power of steadfastness or also known as 'istiqamah'. It is better than doing small and istiqamah than doing big but only does once.

There also a verse in Quran that encourage us to 'istiqamah':

“So unto this (religion) invite (the people). Stand steadfast as you are commanded and do not follow their desires…..”
[Surah al-Shura’ (42): verse 15]

Even there is a hadith:

On the authority of Abu ‘Amr, though others call him Abu 'Amrah Sufyan bin' Abdullah, Radi-Allahu anhu, who said:

I said: “O Messenger of Allah, tell me something about Islam which I could not ask anyone about save you.” He answered: “Say: ‘I believe in Allah’, and then stand firm and steadfast.

[Muslim]

From this hadith, we can know that Islam really encourages us to 'istiqamah', but I know, personally it's hard. One of my sister-friend shared with me that " The first step is always the hardest." However, I still think that we need to start something somewhere. Just start small, and in shaa Allah it will come our way. Most importantly, our priority intention is only to Allah SWT and in shaa Allah to become a better Muslim.

I'm also looking forward to having my last Ramadhan here in Adelaide, in shaa Allah.

So, let's start our engine and let us pray together may we all can come to Ramadhan this year. Ameen.
